We’re thrilled to announce that for another consecutive year, we’re partnering with one of the world’s leading workstation and rendering system manufacturers to showcase our technology at the annual GPU Technology Conference, 2016.
Our team is joining forces with BOXX Technologies (BOXX) ahead of the four-day conference at Silicon Valley, where, from stand 811, we’ll be demonstrating our powerful 3D rendering technology, Iray®+, and its capabilities for developing interactive and engaging point-of-sale configurators.
BOXX is providing our team with two APEXX 4 machines for the event, both with two K6000 NVIDIA GPUs inside.
The BOXX machines, renowned for their ability to carry out simulation tasks quickly and easily, will help facilitate our rendering technology and support our demonstration configurators throughout the conference.
A partnership that performs
At GTC 2016 we’ll be giving visitors to our stand the chance to experience our configurators for themselves, with two demonstrations set to take place – an interactive, web-based, proof of concept configurator designed for an aftermarket wheels company, and a pre-rendered configurator using a Nike trainer.
Visitors to our stand will be able to try their hand at both configurators, customising designs by switching between material colours, properties and design features to experience the Iray+ technology first-hand, in real time.
BOXX’s GPU-based machines will ensure the smooth output of these configurators, thanks to the fact they can be customised to suit any workflow scenario, from in-house design review to multi-GPU point-of-sale rendering.
Dave Forrester, CEO at Lightworks Design, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with the team at BOXX Technologies and we’re delighted to be partnering up with the company again for GTC 2016.
GTC 2016 will be held at San Jose Convention Centre, in the heart of Silicoln Valley, from 4-7 April 2017. For more information, visit www.gputechconf.com
